Why a Non-Immigrant O Visa is necessary

Getting past Tourist Visa limitations

Entering with a Tourist Visa is strictly for leisure purposes, so working, job hunting, or doing business is prohibited. Converting to other visa types can't be done while on a Tourist Visa.

Initial stay and work permit

After entering, the visa holder will be given 90 days to extend their visa and obtain a Work Permit from the Ministry of Labor in order to legally work in Thailand.

Visa Extensions

Visas and work permits do not extend automatically after getting they have been granted. Visa holders must apply to extend Non-Immigrant Visas every year.

90-Day Reports and Re-Entry Permits

Every 90 days, the visa holder must report their address to the immigration bureau. The visa holder must also make sure they obtain a Re-Entry Permit before leaving Thailand on a trip.

Applicants must have a formal job offer or employment contract from a Thai company, specifying their role and duration of employment.

Business Registration Documents
